I ADORE making Valentine printables for my kids, and for your kids! How fun are these summery Valentine sunglasses cards?!
You can get a big pack of assorted children’s sunglasses from Oriental Trading, they’re really cute and made well. My kids love them and my littlest guy will be giving them out to all of his friends. He was very involved in the design process and helping me come up with the quotes.
I am pretty sure I’m a California girl at heart, I am always so happy in that California sunshine, so these were inspired by retro Cali. My youngest loves Justin Timberlake’s song “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and dances around doing this little shoulder shrug dance that he does complete with finger pointing. It’s pretty epic. With the sunglasses and the sunshine in the “Sunshine in my pocket” it was a pretty obvious choice for one of the valentine cards.
The other song lyric we used is this one from Andy Grammer and his “Fresh Eyes” song. My boys think this song is hilarious because they can’t get past the fresh eyes part of it. They don’t get it at all, and think he’s talking about selling fresh eyes. SO there is a little bit of a story to why I included this one!
The last two are just obvious ones to do with Sunglasses and Valentine’s Day. 
If you are using these for your Valentine cards, you might be wondering how to attach the sunglasses. I just attached them on the back with a piece of Scotch tape. Super simple.

The free printables are all on the subscriber freebies page (which you can find at any time under printables on the home page) and then you should have gotten a password when you signed up!
