Valentine Cards for Boys and Girls (No Candy)

Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. I love the love notes, the flowers, the romance, the chocolates…but how much candy do the kids need? I love when the kids get and give Valentine’s that are cute and still have something fun without all the candy. I made these fun cards using the die cuts from the Love Notes collection. My kids had a ton of fun using these as photo props and I know the kids that receive them will too.

I love these mustache shots so much that I am framing the ones of the boys to hang up with the mustache specimen art I made for their room. My older boys are so funny and my baby is so dang sweet. I absolutely LOVE them. If you follow me on Instagram you saw them in black and white. Did I mention I love them? 🙂

The lips were great too, so I turned them to black and white made a collage. I used the red paint at a lower opacity on the lips to get this painted look in Photoshop. I am sending these out to the grandmas, aunts and uncles. You could definitely take a photo of your child with one of the props and give that with the prop for a fun Valentine. I mean these pics are some of my favorite ever…way better than candy!What kind of Valentine cards are your kids giving out this year? We go back and forth on buying the cards at the store and making handmade ones, but I always love making them. I am including a few downloads for you, if you want to print these off yourself and add your own photo prop favors. I did one set in just the black and white that you can add to your own cute scrapbook paper like I did, or you can print off the colored ones on some cardstock for a different look.
