Learn how to make these superhero party drinks that your kids will absolutely love! You can see more of this idea over on Oriental Trading’s Blog.
Along with our Superhero play date Party, there had to be some kind of beverage to keep the kiddo’s hydrated while fighting off evil.
Enter Radioactive Root Beer Floats!
Every superhero worth their laser vision knows that one of the easiest ways to become super is by coming across something radioactive. Whether it be a spider bite, a gamma ray explosion or drinking something glowing…chances are you’ll be leaping across buildings in no time.
Superhero Party Drinks
These Crazy Glow Cups from Oriental Trading are just super cool. Plain and simple. The colors are vibrant, they lasted for hours, and are really great quality. They are a little spendy, but you can use them as cups after the glowing dies. The color is still there, it’s just not glowing anymore. Your kids will still think they are fun because they have this lava lamp type quality. When you tip them upside down to drink, the liquid moves around.
It’s hard to show in pictures just how cool they really are, but just know that these things GLOW! They would also be great for a New Years Party, or how fun would an 80’s party be with these and some black lights? So fun, that’s how fun. 😉
To make the root beer floats, you’ll just need the basics.
Grab your favorite vanilla ice cream and root beer and you’re all set!
Whip these up for your next superhero gathering, and be a hero yourself!
Disclaimer: Just make sure these are the only glowing drinks those little crime fighting, cape wearing, building leapers are drinking. Ha!
