My white living room is complete, and that means this month’s mantel is finally against the wall it was always meant to be against! Now that July 4th is over…and no major holidays are coming up, I was able to do just a fun summer mantel with some fun and bright pieces and I am just excited about.
Isn’t that white wall fun? I am so glad it is finished!
This mantel all started with that Lemonade tray that I picked up on clearance at hobby Lobby. I loved the white with the fresh green and yellow script. I also love the rope handles that add a little natural texture.
I added my faux chalkboard summer banner that I made last year to bring in some contrast. The lemon “tree” is just a mason jar wrapped in burlap and tied with jute. I found the lemons at Hobby Lobby, I’m sure you can find something similar at just about any craft store. 
The poster is from the summer CAUSEBOX from Sevenly. I just framed it with an inexpensive poster frame.
It’s such a fun, bright space that I feel like screams summer happiness.
I of course had to fill a jar with some matching candies, right now it’s green apple Hi-Chews, but it will probably change to lemon drops once those are gone. I got the cute little pinwheels at Jo-Ann for super inexpensive.
The little gnome makes me so happy, he’s from Jo-Ann as well. Paper straws from my stash and some other fun things I shopped my house for make for I think one of my most favorite mantels yet!
Bright, white, pops of bright color and the black for contrast. Happy me! 🙂
