St Patricks Day Mantel ideas by Making the World Cuter

I know I’m not the only one out there that decorates for St. Patrick’s Day, right? I know it can be tricky to find items that are cute in stores…There are so many red mustaches, shining hats and shamrock necklaces at the store, but not a lot of things you would want to put on your mantel. I’ll share a few ideas to make sure you get the cutest mantel this side of Ireland! (Unless you’re in Ireland, and in that case how cool is that?)

First tip? Make your own decor! That Kiss Me Sign was a fun DIY that I made using the FREE Printable that I share in that same post. The DIY Shamrock with Moss is one of my favorite DIY projects I’ve ever made! It’s held up so so well!

I also made those Lucky wood blocks and the shamrock blocks. Super easy DIY projects that look darling and were practically free.

If you’ve been following along for awhile, you know “I use candy in ALL OF MY DECORATING!” (I hope you all sang that in Gaston’s voice) This is one of the easiest ways to decorate for holidays. There are so many colors and different varieties. Filling a mason jar, or any other glass container with colorful treats is my most favorite way to tie everything together. For this St Patricks Day mantel I used mint M&M’s. I don’t particularly love these, but I LOVE that they are all the different colors of green. Then for the gold, I filled a jar with gold wrapped Almond Rocha.

Once in awhile you can come across one or two things that will work for St. Patrick’s Day decor, and this Irish Blessings sign was one of those things I found, that while it might not be my absolute favorite…it’s cute and pulls all the colors together nicely. I believe I bought it at Hobby Lobby.
