Well hi there!
Just to make you feel all the warm fuzzies, I want to make sure you know that this blog is legit. Here are all of the policies you might want to know about.

Please contact me if you ever have any concerns or questions! Email is the best way to get in touch with me: tiffany@makingtheworldcuter.com
Our website address is: https://makingtheworldcuter.com
Disclosure Policy:
Making the World Cuter’s editorial content comes from myself, the founder Tiffany Hewlett. My editorial calendar is created at least a month in advance.
Making the World Cuter earns revenue in a variety of ways such as product sales, advertising, affiliate links, sponsored posts and reviewing products. If a product I get sent to review is not awesome or won’t help you change the world by making someone happy, you won’t hear about it from me. I will just contact the PR company who sent it to me and let them know. While I do earn an income from this website, my editorial content cannot be bought. That means if I’m speaking highly of something, it’s because I really, genuinely like it. I hope you will too.
Here is what you will see at the bottom of every post I write, just as a reminder in more legal terms, pertaining specifically to affiliate links.
Advertising Disclosure: Making the World Cuter may be compensated in exchange for featured placement of certain sponsored products and services, or your clicking on links posted on this website. All views and opinions are 100% my own. Read our disclosure policy for more info. Making the World Cuter is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. As such, affiliate links are utilized on this blog.
Just know that if you purchase anything through an affiliate link, you still pay the same price…the company just kicks me back a small percentage for sharing their link. It’s really a win, win, win situation for everyone!
Privacy Policy:
Making the World Cuter respects your privacy. Google Analytics retrieves data when you come to this site, and really any other site you visit, to find out information like where you are visiting from, how long you stay on the site and what you’re looking at while you’re here. This helps me see what is working…and what is not. I will never use any of this data in any other way except to learn how I can help you more.
You may also enter your email to get a freebie, course or to just stay connected. This information is gathered through my email subscription provider MailerLite. I promise to never sell your information, spam you or flash you. You are welcome! Ha! Seriously though, I truly value your trust in me to have your email address, and would never do anything to make you regret that decision.
I link to other websites a lot on Making the World Cuter and while I always check the links when I initially link to them, I cannot be held responsible for their sites. Be sure to check their privacy policies if you have concerns.
If you do not agree with these policies, you can opt out by unsubscribing if you are a subscriber. If you are not a subscriber then you can just opt not to access my site. I hope that is never the case, but know that you have that right and I will never try to keep you from doing that!
My policies are subject to change without notice…but know that your information will always be safe with me.
Copyright:
Everything I write or post on my site is my intellectual property and protected under Copyright laws. This gives me control over copying, reusing, selling or any other use of my original work products. That includes my photos, writing, graphics etc…
Taking and using my work without written permission from myself will not be tolerated and will prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law…because stealing? Not cute.
Commenting:
We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
Limitations of Liability:
I am not liable for errors or omissions, or anything that comes of reading and putting into practice anything from my site. You read and do at your own risk. Take the advice from Making the World Cuter “as is.” I am not offering professional advice, just offering up what I have learned and what I know. I’m just a girl, who has learned that the fastest way to change the world is by making others happy. I like to make cute gifts to give and want to help others do the same. I also like to remodel my house and share the process. If you would like to recreate any of these projects, I am so excited about that! I can’t guarantee that you get the same results, but I can do my best to show you how I do these things.
I also cannot control other people. If you leave a comment and someone writes something mean, nasty, inappropriate or links to something in any of those ways. I am not liable for that. Along that same train of thought though…if you leave any mean, nasty or inappropriate comments or links you will be banned from commenting and banned from my site. I do not tolerate that with my kids, and I sure won’t tolerate it here. Also, as site owner, I get to decide what is mean, nasty or inappropriate…and I’m kind of a prude, so just be aware of that. Now for some legal talk about the information that is collected:
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
I mentioned before that I link to other websites. Please click at your own risk. Like I said before, I always check the link before I post it to be sure it’s going where it is supposed to, but I cannot be liable for other people or their websites. Please read their terms and conditions on their sites if you have problems. (I would appreciate an email if you ever do click on a link that doesn’t go where it’s supposed to or has any suspicious behavior so I can save someone else the same problem by removing the link!)
I’m operating from Bend, Oregon and any law that applies here, applies here on the blog.
