If you are wondering what this is, please check this post here.
This year they are focusing on the privilege of ministering.
This month the message is on The Family: A Proclamation to the World
I was glad that it was, I have been wanting to hang one up on my wall in my hall ever since I finished it, but the design of the one from the church doesn’t really go with my decor…it’s too fancy looking. I wanted something a little more fresh and clean, so I made my own! I just copied it into a different layout and font, so don’t worry, the message is still the same, and just as powerful.
Here is a quote from this month’s message:
“The Family: A Proclamation to the World, We were grateful for and valued the clarity, simplicity, and truth of this revelatory document. … The proclamation on the family has become our benchmark for judging the philosophies of the world, and I testify that the principles set forth … are as true today as they were when they were given to us by a prophet of God nearly 20 years ago.” -Bonnie L. Oscarson, Young Women general president

The quotes from the message this month are great, but I really loved the included scripture D&C 1:38, so I went with that for the printable this month.
January Visiting Teaching Handout
I made this little handout that you can print out at your favorite photo processing place (I print them out on lustre at Costco). They are 4×6 prints, or you can print out 4 on an 8.5×11 piece of card stock at home.
Feel free to print to your hearts content and share with the ladies that you visit. You can also hang one on your own fridge or in a special place as a reminder all month.
I am also including this Proclamation printable. I wanted something a little fresh that would match the decor on my wall. This would be fun to put in a cute frame for the sisters you visit for this month or for their birthdays! 🙂
