It’s been so hot here this week! I am not complaining, because literally last week we were complaining of being cold. I am just tired of feeling the extremes and hope it settles into an actual rhythm soon! One day we have our heaters on and we’re drinking hot chocolate while calling the hvac experts because the next day is supposed to be 98 degrees and the ac just can’t handle the mood swings of this central Oregon weather. Is it like this anywhere else right now, or are we the only ones? I know some of you are having hot hot weather, but are you experiencing the rollercoaster too? Anywho… Earlier this week I showed you the overall Patriotic Peanuts Party that we had, and today I want to show you a closer look at the balloon banner I made for it.
What I LOVE about this project is that it is BIG, it is CUTE, it is INEXPENSIVE and it can be customized to literally any party…or heck even a wedding! I have a complete tutorial on how I made this balloon banner and added the cute Snoopy paper fans for my parties backdrop over on Oriental Trading’s Blog.
Sometimes the most simple decor items turn out the best, and this is definitely one of those times! Be sure to go check it out!
Check out some other banners I have made…
This was an easy banner that I made for my porch box, but has also found it’s way inside for a summer mantel I did last year. That mantel was one of my favorites ever, I did it all in lemon yellow, greens and black and white. It turned out super cute. You totally need to check it out if you didn’t see it last year!
This was a fun layered banner that I made for my daughter’s diy pallet lemonade stand. I like the layered triangles and the unproportional star on it. It was a fun little banner to make.
These are some of my favorite banners ever! Those little sombreros are just too too cute! The tissue paper and ric rac banners are so dang cute too, and can totally be made for any kind of party, not just a fiesta! Loved this whole party!
