Disney fun continues over here with this super cute Disney purse and pin holder! This one is for me, and I made one for my daughter as well. I don’t want to bring a big purse into the park, or even a backpack since all of my kids are all old enough now that we won’t be using a stroller. Just something to hold my cell phone, a card to buy treats, tickets and fast passes is sufficient. If it has a place to put the cute Disney trading pins we love to collect, even better right?!?
I am sharing the tutorial on how to make this easy beginner level sewing project over on Make it and Love it today! I mean it took me a few tries to figure out the exact way I wanted it, but now that I made all the mistakes, you won’t have to! I’m excited to have this at the park, and not have to worry about leaving my valuables off the rides or with other people. How? I made it so that I can wear it three different ways to accommodate the rides, so I never have to take it off! 🙂
Disney Purse and Pin Holder
You can wear this Disney Purse cross body like a purse or messenger bag which is my preferred way of wearing it.
Then you can also wear it as a fanny pack! That’s right! Oh yeah! 80’s, and 90’s children and mom jean wearing friends rejoice! This fanny pack shouldn’t embarrass the kids though (darn) because it looks pretty cute that way. Bonus, you don’t have to take off your fanny pack on the rides that would require you to take off the little bag. Just adjust and wear it like a belt. Coolio.
Finally you can wear it around your neck like a lanyard if it doesn’t have anything heavy in it, and your main purpose is pin trading like my kids. You can put your most favorite on the purse part…you know the ones that you’re not willing to part with? For me those are the nerd pins. For my son it’s the vinylmation. We all have our favorites.
Do you trade pins when you go to the parks? Which ones are your favorites!
Be sure to head over to Make it and Love it and leave me any questions, comments and love! xo
