Disney Dollars Printable

If you follow me anywhere than you know that I am in Disneyland right now with my hubby and cute kids…it truly is the happiest place on earth for us. We absolutely adore Disneyland and all the magic that goes with it.

My kids are pretty good about knowing that if they want something extra on a regular day that they are going to need to save for it and spend their own money. Put them in Disneyland though where everything costs four times as much and everything is something they want RIGHT now because we won’t be back in SO long…that’s hard for any kiddo. That’s why we put aside our regular punch cards and allowance for the last few months and the kids have been earning Disney Dollars instead.

I made this simple Disney Dollars Printable and thought I’d share for any of you who might be planning a trip in the near future.

Instead of using our regular Chore Punch Cards, I made these Disney punch cards with more spots, and we have been a lot more generous with our punches (after all it is a LOT more expensive for the things they’re going to want). Instead of punching these with a hole punch, I have just been using a Mickey Mouse pen to mark x’s on all the spots of the jobs they do.

We told the kids that we would buy them each a treat a day (on top of meals), but if they wanted any extra they would have to spend their own Disney money on them. They are also responsible for buying their own souvenir this year, that way they can maybe be a little more selective than just grabbing things off the rack in handfuls, saying “they’re what I always wanted!”

I printed ours out on red and yellow paper, but it could be on any color, I just wanted to be as Disney cute as possible! 🙂 The kids all have their Disney Dollars in their bags and when they spend them they just give them to us and we pay for the things. That way they can see exactly what they have at any time. I think it will work out great…I’ll let you know if it doesn’t. 🙂
