Organizing isn’t always about getting the closets and drawers straightened up. Sometimes we need to organize our lives a bit, and getting on top of the birthdays in your life can really make you feel like you can conquer just about anything! You will love how it looks on your desk, you can decorate it however you would like. I haven’t forgotten anyone’s birthday the last two months! Amazing how a birthday reminder right in front of your face can do that huh? 🙂 The tutorial is super easy, and really inexpensive to make…In fact if you have scrap wood and some card stock you can make one for free! A few people have asked me about the font that I used on the front of the box. It’s a paid for font from The Hungry JPEG (cutest fonts over there!) called Braveheart.
One of your favorite features of this box, besides the reminding of the birthdays, will be that you can have all of your friends and family that you buy gifts for on a regular basis, have their preferences on these favorite things cards. Just print out a few of these pages, cut them down to size and then ask them (over text or email, super easy) their favorite things. Then just put the cards behind the month their birthdays fall in and then you know you will never be short of ideas of what to get them for their birthdays. Or if they are having a bad day and for some reason you can’t remember their favorite soda…You can check the card and stop at Sonic after you pick up the kids from school. So useful and fun to have! 🙂
