I am SO excited to show you my new favorite spot in my house…or rather outside my house. I have been working at this space here and there for the past couple of weeks and I am finally at a point that I can show it off! We have a fabulous deck off in our back yard. It has three different “levels” so I have some work cut out for me, if I want them to all live up to the cuteness of this section! 🙂 This back porch area is off of our dining room, and so I though it would be the perfect spot to set up our outdoor eating space. It also is the spot with the pergola which I adore. Just a warning this post is very picture heavy! I hope you enjoy!
Back Porch Reveal!
Before I show you more of the afters, let’s just take a look at the before…
Notice the ugly table. Notice the gag green trim around the door. Notice the bleh of nothing else. Notice the lack of cute.
Now for the after!
Notice the cute table! Notice the bright white trim around the door! Notice the addition of everything else! Notice the total abundance of cute! 🙂
You can see that I still need to paint the trim on the rest of my house, but I am taking it one section at a time. That way it’s more manageable.
I didn’t notice how much I need to cuten up the dog door until I looked at these pictures…definitely going to make a frame or something cute to go around that! The deck will also be stained a different color later on, but for now it will do.
Adding flowers to a porch make such a difference!
Showing you how I made over that plain bleh table into the adorable thing you see before you tomorrow, you don’t want to miss that! Update: glass patio table makeover.
I’ll share details of the signs later this on too…
Those benches…yeah we made those…for CHEAP, and I LOVE them. I will show you the how-to later on…(so much to come back for!)
I would love to hear your thoughts! I am so happy with my new back porch and we have already spent hours out here eating, laughing and enjoying the weather and each other.
Here is where everything is from, let me know if I’ve missed something!
