We all love chocolate chip cookies right? We all love them even more when they are packaged cute, and what’s cuter than a mason jar? This is my absolute favorite way to package cookies, not just as gifts but to keep on the counter after I make a batch! I always double the batch of cookies when I make them so that I can give some away as a happy day present to a friend or family member.
Mason Jar Cookies
I am in LOVE with the new Mason Jar die cut that is shipping next month from We R Memory Keepers and Lifestyle Crafts. How cute is that? It comes with different tags so you can make lots of different looks. You can use this in your Evolution or Epic 6 or any other die cut system like that.
For my gift tag I just used the jar and the lid on a sheet of Chalkboard Gray cardstock. It is double sided so I used the darker side for the front of the lid.
Before I attached the lid using Sticky Thumb (can I tell you how much I love that thing? I use it daily, for everything!), I added a cute gingham strip of aqua washi.
Then, because I didn’t want a huge hole in my cute little jar, I used my Crop-a-Dile to punch a tiny hole and then threaded it with some aqua bakers twine. After filling the jar to the brim with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, I just wrapped the tag around the jar. Simple and adorable!
I am on the Lifestyle Studios Team and I receive product to create cute things. It’s fun and I pass some of that fun on to you! If you see something in this post you want to purchase, go ahead and take 20% off that and everything else using the code CUTEBLOG. As always all opinions are 100% my own.
