Teacher you are one in a melon!
This is day four of the teacher appreciation week printable ideas and I am having so much fun coming up with ideas to use with these cute tags! This is one of my favorites, and one of the easiest!
I really do feel like we have such great teachers this year. They are exactly what each of my boys needed, and have made the transition from homeschooling to public schooling SO much easier than I thought it would, both for the kids and for me. I love to be able to show our appreciation to them with little gifts all week. This one in a melon gift is fun, tasty and cute…also it can be for a guy teacher or a girl teacher…which we have one of each. I tried to make sure I didn’t go too girly with any of the gifts. The tags are pretty cutesy, but I know my husband loves candy and can always use a little jar to put little thumbtacks or nails in or something. If not, he can give it to me. He would approve of this gift, so I know our male teacher will as well. And just to make it that much more fun we threw in a target gift card that says thanks on it. 🙂
The little glass jars and actually the watermelon taffy were both purchased at World Market. Any little glass jar or mason jar would work, and any watermelon candy would work too! Target also has some delicious smelling sugar melon candles right now that would be great for a candle lover, and some cute blank cards with watermelons on them that would also work. Or hey, even giving a teacher an actual watermelon would be fun! A little different than an apple. 😉
Check out the rest of the teacher appreciation posts from this week using these free printables and come back tomorrow for the last one! That strawberry tag is getting some love.
