My friend texted me this morning and asked me if I was the one who had the post on thankful tree tags…and I wasn’t. But I wanted to be. I have been wanting to make a pretty centerpiece with a thankful tree in the middle for Thanksgiving next week, but I am doing a white table and didn’t want to do traditional fall colors. I hadn’t seen anything like what I wanted, so when she texted this morning, I knew I could whip up something that she would like, and that would suit my needs perfectly.
It is also super friendly on your printer, just a few lines of color, no need to fret. I printed these out on white cardstock and then just cut them out. I left plenty of space around them so that you can leave a white border, no need to get super precise, in fact it looks better if you don’t!
I punched a small hole in each leaf and then strung some of my favorite We R Memory Keepers bakers twine in fun colors through each one.
I kind of love these!
I went out and braved the snow and wind to cut some branches off of my Aspen tree in the yard and stuck the in a vase with some poly fill beads to give the appearance of snow, then I just hung the leaves from the branches. My kids thought the second sheet of leaves I did look like acorns, so I guess I have leaves and acorns, I’m cool with that. Now to figure out the rest of my tablescape!
