Including my husband, I have 4 little boys who LOVE Transformers in my house. My husband loves the movies of course, but I can’t think of another children’s toy that he would rather play with the kids than Transformers. My actual children love the cartoon Transformers Prime on HUB and seriously what boy wouldn’t love a robot toy that can turn into something completely different, like a car or a dragon? Boy heaven, believe me!
When I was approached to review one of the new Transformers Prime Beast Hunter toys, there is absolutely no way I could have said no with my brood of the robot loving boys.

So, me not really knowing there was anything out there but the Autobots (dumb girl that I am), found out that there are now Beast Transformers called Predicons that the Autobots have to fight, therefore becoming “Beast Hunters”. So now they have to fight the Decepticons and the Predicons and pretty much just save the earth all the time from us unknowing humans. Hopefully now that I know the back story, I will gain some cool points with my boys. I can totally talk robots with them now.
Hasbro is releasing a whole new line of toys to go along with this new story line and updating some of the favorites like Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. These will be the “it” toys to get for your boys ages 5-12 this year!
We had the fun opportunity to check out the KRE–O Transformers Beast Hunters Ripclaw Strike Building Set.

My 4 & 7 year old boys and my 8 year old nephew all sat around and put together the dragon and little guys with me. Yes, I had to get in on the action. It was kind of fun, I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed playing with those little bricks! The instruction booklet was easy to follow, no words, all pictures-so perfect for kids who aren’t the strongest readers. I will say that if you want to make the actual characters that they show, like the dragon, that unless you have a 6 or 7 year old with a really great attention span, it will probably take some time before getting the 199 pieces all put together on their own.

Working together on a project was fun, and then they have a super awesome toy to play with when they’re done. The dragon can open and close his mouth and there is a little button thing that you put together and it makes it flap it’s wings. I mean it is the epitome of cool. Then you get the two little beast hunter men to fight him…or help him chase your 3 year old girl cousin around the house, depending on how you’re playing.
I’m excited to give one of you the chance to put a big old smile on your favorite little guy’s face with their own Transformer toy.

I love the bright colors and that they are something my son enjoys playing with.

My son loved transformers when he was younger … I’d love to see him introduce them to his son
I like that the instructions are all pictures! That makes it easier for my 7 and 5 year old to work on it on their own. They like to do things all by themselves, but have a difficult time reading directions.
I love Transformers Prime Beast Hunters toys, because I have three boys, who loves to use their imaginations.
My son loves how you can transform them into something different. Plus, I love the quality.
