I remember going to Gymboree as a young teen when my brother was little and my mom would get him all of these adorable clothes with matching hats, socks, jackets and anything else you can match to a ridiculously over the top cute outfit. I was jealous that they didn’t have clothes in my size! Now as a mom, anytime I even walk by a Gymboree I have to go in and see their new collections and ooh and ahh over all the cuteness.
I have to admit that I don’t buy a ton there, because I want it all! I can’t seem to just buy a dress for my daughter, she needs the matching tights, shoes, hair bows, sweater, purse and underwear. My husband does not understand this need to have it all. I just find that it’s really hard to not go overboard.
These are the kids clothes I buy for special occasions like Christmas, church, Easter (it’s coming up!), family pictures and anything else I want to last so that I can pass it down to my younger kids or to friends and family. Gymboree clothes are such high quality and are so dang CUTE that people will be begging you for your hand me downs. Literally. Bekah wore this dress to church on Sunday and I had three people with younger girls ask if they could have it when she grew out of it!
All of these items are from their new spring collection. The colors make me happy. It’s so nice to have a little pop of brightness after winter. I know looking at these pictures, some of you that are still covered in snow are thinking this looks like paradise…well it is, but I could still stand another 10 or more degrees on the thermometer
