Making the World Cuter Monday

Making the World Cuter Monday

It’s already Monday again?!? Thanksgiving is next week?!? Less than 50 days until Christmas?!?Yes, Yes and holy moly, I’m not even kidding, Yes.

How are your preparations for the holidays going?

Do you have any shopping done, or do you wait until after Turkey day?I surprisingly have most of mine done. That’s what happens when people keep visiting me and want to go shopping in my cute little town…I shop. :)

Just a few last little things and I might actually be done before Turkey day!

Of course my kids are all making gifts for one another again this year. So that’s not done yet, but I plan on starting on those this week.

From our 2009 Christmas morning opening gifts from one another.

This has been my favorite tradition. Sure, I end up doing a lot of extra work when I could just give them money and let them pick out something at the store, but the work they put into these gifts make it so meaningful to everyone. I think most of them know what they are making for one another this year, that’s always the hardest thing. Luckily we have Pinterest this year and we can find lots and lots of ideas!

This last weekend my sweetie and I celebrated 11 years of happiness. Funny how it seems like just yesterday and forever all at the same time!

Anniversary

I loved seeing all the “Thankful” type posts that were linked up last week! I have to admit, that I think Thanksgiving may just be my favorite holiday. I love how everyone is focused on what they are thankful for…right before they start focusing on all the things they want for Christmas. It’s a good time for reflection, and it is really all about family…and food. Thinking about Thanksgiving brings memories of warmth, happiness and laughter.

The post that jumped out at me for my cute and pinworthy link this week was this adorable Thanksgiving Book from Redfly Creations. I am printing one for each of my kids to work on for school next week. Cute coloring pages, story starters and games. Love it! Be sure to pin this to your Fall or Thanksgiving boards!

Now it’s on to this week! What cute things have been up to?

I would love it if you would leave me a comment and let me know what you linked up! I don’t have time to look at every single post, but if you leave me a comment with the number of your link, I will be sure to check it out!

Remember that I don’t require a back link anymore, but I would so appreciate a link back to Making the World Cuter. If you prefer to cuten up the link, you can find my button at the bottom of my site, or there on the sidebar if you click on button over my face. :)

Please don’t link up the same thing week after week! I like to see fresh cuteness!

Link up anything that is making the world a cuter place to be be! Can’t wait to see it!

@stellabskitchen Yum! I’m not eating gluten anymore so I can’t eat that yummy dessert, but I know I would love it! Your pot roast looks SO good! I pinned that one! Crockpot applesauce sounds great, if I could keep apples in my house long enough to make it! My four kids go through so many apples! :)
      Thanks for linking up!
