I am just thrilled about today’s fashion post because I get to share a little bit of my love of Kids Style with you all and just in time for back to school! I have been collecting a variety of styles that I love, piece by piece, for my kids for quite a while on my kids style pin board. It seems like this year designers and stores are stepping it up and laying ontheadorable pretty thick.
Back to School Clothes
I am a big believer of putting your kids in clothes that you yourselfwouldwear. I am not a fan of the generic kids clothes out there that are covered with Sponge Bob or Miley Cyrus, nor would I ever choose to purchase Velcro character light up tennis shoes. No offense, that’s just not me.Instead, I like to see kids in classic styles that you know even when the time comes to hand them down that they will still be wearable and in style. Usually at the beginning of the school year I try to save money and find something I like and then try to recreate it myself, but as of late my time is stretched pretty thin and… shopping it is!
This year I am all about the colored and patterned jeans. There are so many different colors and shades to choose from and I am not embarrassed at all to tell you that I could spend 3 hours in Old Navy or Target pairing different shirts and jackets to colored skinny jeans.
I have 2 daughters in school this year and both of them live in dresses and skirts. I am all for it. I try to buy skirts that can be worn with multiple tops and with different colors. Not to mention ones that are multi-seasonal and look great over tights and boots. GAP kids is always a favorite for beautiful skirts and dresses.
LOVE this look, I say the more layers the better. H&M Kids has some of the cutest sweaters and jackets I have seen yet!I buy a lot of fall clothes the year before the current school year, right when they go on sale. That way I stock up on great sweaters, leggings and boots at a great price that… come end of the summer heat… I don’t don’t even want to think about getting.
My absolute favorite kids site right now has got to be Zara Kids. I get lost in the amazingness of that site. Perfect, current style on a kids level. You can not go wrong shopping at Zara. I would wear every single outfit above, proving again that this is how I shop for current trends in kids clothes.
I know I am ready for school to be back in session. How about you?
Happy school days!
