Although I am no where near bikini ready, I have already started shopping for a new summer suit. I have seen so many new styles already and wanted to share a few of my favie swimsuit sites!Let’s break it down into the basic 3 categories shall we?
First up ONE PIECE’s:This first one is from Athena Swimwear and it is so bright and cheery for summer. Athena has some great suitswithfun prints that come in a variety of styles.I am also swooning over this darling Pink Lemonade one piece from Anthropologie. It is quite a bit out of my price range, but love it all the same. Anthropologie’s suits are so on trend and they have so many to choose from. The last 2 one-pieces are probably my absolute favorite ones so far. There’s this Keyhole Blouson suit from J.Crew. I LOVE this shallow sea color. J.Crew is always guaranteed to be made at high quality and their suits are really beautiful and flattering.
And then there is this awesome Basta Surf one piece from PiperLime. Great color blocking. I am a huge fan of PiperLime period, but they have my eye on their swim options this year. Plus they have great two pieces. Which brings us to the next category….
To be honest, I don’t go straight to the Bikini section in any store. The biggest reason being that I was not blessed with the chest of an average woman…instead I would say I resemble that of a 15 year old boy.
But if I had the boobies for a day I would love to try on this little number from Target. It is fun and I love the neon. Target is another one of those sites that is full of mix and match options and for the fraction of the price!
Sticking with the less expensive again, I love this super cute Contrast Bandeau bikini from Gap. I use to work at Gap so I am a bit biast, but I have always loved the way I feel in Gap suits. They are comfortable and stylish.
And Third TANKINI’s:
I personally love and have found so many great tankini’s from Lime Ricki. They are thicker and they last so much longer than other suits. Great site for all kinds of modest options. I love colors on this Birds Ruffle Halter. Because I’m from Oregon so you gotta put a bird on it, Right?!
Last I have one of the great sister company’s of Downeast Basic’s, called Modbe. I fell in love with their swimsuits a few years ago when I got to review a Tankini over on my blog. I love the long tops that cover up everything. I love the patterns they have and they stay put and don’t ride up.
What do you think?
I hope I may have thrown out a few sites that you might not have thought about yet. Summer is around the corner Ladies and I need to rock a cute suit to make up for my pasty 15 year old boy body.
Now It’s Your Turn!
What Style of Swimsuit is your favorite? Are you in the market for a new one this year?
