Making The World Cuter Monday {BabyCakes Doughnut Maker Review/Giveaway}

EDIT: GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNER HAS BEEN CONTACTED! THANKS FOR ENTERING!

Have you tried out the Babycakes Donut Maker?

I was excited to try it out and let my daughter make us some delicious treats. She loves making waffles and grilled cheese sandwiches in similar appliances, so I knew this would be right up her alley. Plus it’s DONUTS people! What is better than donuts? Not much…and these are good…REALLY GOOD! We made them here at my sister in laws house and kids and grown ups alike ate them up in no time flat.

Let me show you how it works and then I’ll tell you how you can win one for yourself…and of course I’ll let you show off your cute stuff too!

This is one of the Doughnut mixes, in cinnamon and sugar, and the BabyCakes donut maker. If you are the lucky winner, then this is what you will get too. (If you just want a super fun gift to give to…well anyone… this is what you should get too!)

If you use the doughnut mix, it’s just like a cake mix that you add wet ingredients to. Simple.

My daughter was thinking she was pretty hot stuff mixing the batter all by herself. I know for a fact that this little appliance will be well used by my sweet little baker!If you are lazy…and umm are too hungry for donuts to read the instruction manual first…you will just plop your donut mix into the maker like this…

They come out fine, although the holes are not really “holes” they still taste just as good. BUT if you read the manual…or this review you will know that using a plastic bag or piping bag and actually piping the dough around the holes then closing it will make them a lot prettier!

You close the maker just like a waffle maker and admire the cuteness of the yellow appliance while you wait for about 4 minutes.When you open it after those four minutes you will notice that the tops might not be as dark as the bottoms, it DOES NOT affect the taste, but if you want them to be all dark, then you can turn them over about 3 minutes in with the little fork they give you and then let them cook a little longer.With this mix, you dip the donut into melted butter……and then put it in a bag of cinnamon and sugar (that comes with the mix) and shake it up baby!Serve while still warm and enjoy! We’ve made a few different batches since I took these, my kids and my nieces and nephews can’t get enough. We got some moist cake mixes and made a whole BUNCH of them. Perfect for holiday gifts for the neighbors huh? We’ll be making Red Velvet ones tonight with store bought cream cheese frosting…easy and delicious!So…do you want to win one of these little gift sets? You can keep it for yourself or give it away…but I recommend doing both, get one for yourself and if you win, give this one away! Perfect for the one on your list with a sweet tooth…and the one who has everything…and the one who likes to cook…and the one who likes to make creative things…and the one who likes to eat…and the one who likes mini things…

To enter just go over to BabyCakes Facebook page (Select Brands, Inc) and like them, then come back and leave me a comment letting me know that you did!

If you want an extra entry…link something up and let me know that you want to win by leaving me a comment and telling me what you are linking up.
