DIY Cake Pop or Lollipop Tree

Before I show you these totally cute trees I made I just want to remind you of the HUGE giveaway that TWO people are going to win a prize package worth over $230 from Wagner & Mythic. You know you need to paint something (or everything) before the holidays! This is the perfect prize for you…plus it involves a power tool.Your husband will think it’s cool. :) Now onto the project! For my littlest boy who just turned one (sob) I made cake pops for the first time ever and had to figure something out to put them in. Enter Styrofoam cone magically transforming into the Lollipop Tree!I also made this set for Halloween…so that I can give out suckers to the little suckers darlings who come knocking on my door while I enjoy the bag of chocolate we also will inevitably purchase. I plan on making more sets as well…for Christmas, Valentines Day, Arbor Day, Thursdays…To see the full tutorial and to read some of my very late night gibberish…go on over to the DIY Club and read this post HERE.

While you are over there check out some or all of the parties going on & enter your projects into the appropriate categories to win some FABULOUS prizes. I know you all love linky parties…and you all probably have at least one project that can fit into at least one of these categories; 31 days of Spray Painting, 31 days of Paint Brushes & 31 days of Painting.

We also have some Breast Cancer awareness items going on. A super great PINK auction featuring items from lots of your fave bloggers, projects are going up now and bidding starts on the 22nd. AND we are having a 31 days of Hope Pinning party at Pinterest head on over for details on that fun!

Lots going on, on top of all the cute and great DIY projects that are featured every day. Click on the button below to see the Lollipop tree and all of the other DIY projects I’ve posted there. :)

Those trees are adorable! My mom used to have this pretty porceline vase that had holes in it and she used it to hold suckers. One of us broke it, I can’t remember who, but she hasn’t been able to find one like it since. Maybe I’ll make her one of these cones. Thanks so much for sharing!
